Am I fit enough to have a Personal Trainer?
You don’t have to be fit – I devise a programme based around your current fitness levels and what it is you want to achieve. We then progress at a rate that’s suitable for you.
How often do I need to see my Personal Trainer?
This depends on how much exercise you’re prepared to do on your own. Normally, after each session, I’ll leave you with things to do before the next time we meet.
Do I need to be an athlete?
No! But as a previous athlete myself, I have been there and done it before so I know all the tricks of the trade to get you into the shape you want AND FAST!
How long until I see results?
The harder you work, the faster you’ll get the results you want but you should start to see changes within 4-6 weeks.
What if I don’t like running?
Then you don’t have to run! My method of training is based upon encouraging people to find something they like doing – this makes it much easier to stick to, and it should be fu
How do I know if I’ll like it?
There is an initial Personal trainer Taster which is free – it’s a chance for you to meet me, and for me to explain how I work and what I can do for you.
What sort of things will we do?
I have all sorts of equipment from steps, weights and bands to boxing gloves, speed ladders and stability balls. I change the programmes regularly to keep the training interesting and fun.
Where will the training take place?
The bulk of the training is gel at The Gym Group (Cabot Circus) In Bristol. However I am flexible I can come to your house or office and bring my equipment with me. You only need a small space in a living room or garage. If the weather’s nice and you feel like being outside, we can go in the garden, to a local park or Check Out my Sky Track on the contact page!
What kit do I need?
Don’t worry – I bring all the exercise equipment with me, but you’ll need loose, comfortable clothing that you can easily move about in. Ideally, you should have a good pair of trainers but I can assist you in choosing these. For women, a sports bra is essential but again I can help you to find what you need.
